The Real Tax Guy

Mid-Size Business Tax Strategy

Your business is growing, and your tax strategy should grow with it.

Once your business is consistently making around $100,000 to $150,000 in profit, tax strategy starts becoming a much bigger conversation. At this level, we need to look beyond simply finding another deduction.

If you aren't already an S-Corp, that is something you should at least be looking at. There are also retirement strategies, including options like a 401(k) or SEP, that can become much more meaningful as your income increases.

Now don't just make these decisions because somebody on the internet told you to. You need to account for your business structure, income, payroll, retirement goals and the way you operate your business.

If you are interested in getting started, begin by submitting your documents below. You'll need to submit your last year's tax return along with a projected P&L for this year, so we can see what you deducted, how your business is currently structured, and where you actually stand today.

  • Your previous year's return
  • Estimated 2026 P&L

PDF or photos are both fine.
